Weekend over

I am just not really sure where the weekend goes. But it most certainly goes by faster then any other 2 days of the week. Dh was home again this Friday. But got nothing done around here.

Kid seem to have a good start off to the school year, so that is good. But not holding breathe just yet. He did have homework on Friday. Which of course starts the phase, "But I don't know how to do this .." They seem to love sending home things to do that was not covered in class. Oh that is a big help. TYVM teacher.

Baseball practice on Saturday was enjoyable finally. Glad the weather was a little more pleasant than it has been lately. Matter of fact it seems least for a little while the weather is taking a break from the 100+ days. Some bad news that we found out was the bat he has been using is illegal in this league, and the new bat we just bought isn't a good match for him. So after practice we went looking for a new bat. Kid needed it before this coming Saturday as he has a game. But so that he could get practice in with it we needed to go search. Luckily for us it wasn't hard to find one he "thought" would do. I just love that. Shell out over $100 on a bat "we hope" works out. Yeah!!!!! Note the joy in that tone?

But we took him to cages on Saturday evening and on Sunday. Seems to be working out well. Cross our fingers that it stays that way.

That pretty much sums up our weekend. Now on to new week.
