Well we got a lot of rain yesterday and to quote the man, "don't hold your breath the game will still be played". Kid and I should have placed a bet, because we would have won.
The game was still played. Kid played his butt off. He caught & scored in the first inning. He played left field in the third. He was really hitting the ball well today. Guess that $xxx.xx bat is paying off. They played the .. well now that I think about it, they were not wearing names on jersery. But it was a close game. 5-7. They did lose, but hey it was a well played game. Really if time had not ran out, I think they could have taken it the game.
Afterward we ate dinner out and headed back home.
