Graduation day is tough for adults. They go to the ceremony as parents. They come home as contemporaries. After nineteen years of child-rearing, they are unemployed.

9.20.12
Most fun I have had in a long time. The High School FBLA was there for Career day. Only seen son once, when he came to pick up his money of course. :)
I even behaved with my eating. Packed snacked. Drank Water. Stayed away from concession. Woo Hoo!! Now after? Not so much. Hooters was not the best choice. But I will say walking all the blocks from Baseball Stadium, to Hooters, then to the Hockey Stadium helped me feel a little better about that choice. :)
Lastly my favorite pitcher. Motte.

Mom Report to the Principal’s Office…
FIRST that is NOT his SSD teacher. SECOND it was an empty study guide for a test labeled Thursday. Umm.. Who is to fill this out? Why is this only being sent
All the while dropping all possible words to CDD. Then when looking up the grades from his last final, Chem, I see the strangest thing I have ever seen in his grades ... Geometry 7% F. WTH!! Apparently none of his papers have been done. So I placed another call into that teacher as well. Since I was on a roll I called his Personal Fitness teacher and left VM to him as well. How DARE he tell CD to take off his splint because he wanted to see his finger? WHAT? Excuse me? Are you his Dr? Is he in Shower? Is he doing his therapy? I think those would all be No’s, and being that the answers are NO, the splint does NOT come off.
I was HOT and sure, as HELL was not taking this crap any longer. What the hell is this school not getting? NO WRITING!! ASSISTANCE IS REQUIRED. This is not by choice. I didn’t make the rules. I didn’t write up the guidelines to his return to school. That would be his DR. I really do not think any of us can over rule a very important rule. A rule, that if NOT followed could lead to the re-breaking of the finger and worse surgery AGAIN. It is not that hard. Fine send the study guide by email, but have the D!mn thing filled out.
I heard from the SSD teacher and the Geometry teacher. Explaining I DO NOT CARE what my “all I want to do is please all adults in my life, and will tell no one no” child says. NO HE CAN NOT WRITE. PERIOD!! Follow the Dr orders that I know all teachers were emailed. HE is not in charge I AM. The DR is. Trust me all this was said in my nice to your face voice. Got that settled peacefully. Geometry teacher is very sweet, a mom who gets it. I like that. :)
So I proceed my cussing day. CDD took me to lunch. I cussed some more. Waitress? Incompetent B!tch! I still fuss and feud to CDD about the lack of school being helpful. Them letting A$$ Clown walk scout free, etc, etc, all and everything plus the kitchen sink.
Dropped him off at his ride to work. Went with mom to take Yadi to Vets, while I was talking to the Vet & mom about A$$ Clown (don't ask how that came about, ha ha) my cell phone rings. It is the pre-fix to school numbers. Okay must be the last teacher, History. Yeaaa! Me in my fake nice to your face voice …
“Hello” ..
“Hi Mrs. XX this is ”THE B!TCH WHO LET YOUR SON GET BROKEN …”
She was calling because she had a VM from me. Yeah! Dumb A$$ B!tch! BEFORE CHRISTMAS!! I SNAPPED. I can hardly remember the words spewing from my lips. My moms jaw dropped. The Vet stopped in her tracks. But did that stop me? Nope! By the time I got done, I think she was in tears, which BTW I had a flicker of shame and guilt. She is a very young and brand new teacher. But that feeling didn’t last long. Grrr!! Hung up with her. Resumed rest of day. Now cussing to mom about all above.
Now we are at school picking up CD after basketball practice he gets in car. He is now cussing about sh!tty day. Tell me about a run in with A$$ Clown that led to him cussing LOUDLY in hallway at A$$ Clown. Apparently causing teachers to drop their jaws (no one would believe he would have that type of mouth. Hmm? Wonder where he gets that? Ha ha) Apparently coming very close to getting into fight w/ A$$ Clown, but A$$ Clown walked away. So after all that and realizing that this was a true cussing it all out sort of day. CD drops another bomb ..
Head Principal XYZ wants you to come to his office first thing in the a.m. What did you do to Ms. ”THE B!TCH WHO LET YOUR SON GET BROKEN” ?
WHAT A DAY!!

An Anniversary & A Birthday..
Whole Cow .. we made it to another year. 18 years. Ha! They said it wouldn't last a year. It is quite simple how we have lasted 20 years together, 18 of which married. He have never spent more than a couple months tops on days. ha! ha! Kind of hard not to stay together when you don't see each other on a daily bases. I kid. I kid.
Seriously I do not know where the time went. Time just flies by. Seems like just yesterday we were just getting married and moving 900+ miles away to the Frozen Tundra, though that was 18 years ago this April. Seems like just last week the stick had two lines, though he turns 16 this May. Something must be going right for all that to just seem like yesterday.
Guess I could have chosen worse. *wink*
So in saying that ..
How I depend on you to love me for who I am
and
believe in me for what I hope to be.
How I feel loved each time you smile or touch my hand and,
when I need someone to listen, I know you'll understand.
It means the world to me when you tell me I am the best mother
our child could ask for,
that you wish your own mother would have been as great as I am with our son.
You will never know how that makes me feel.
The last 6 months had been rocky, but you stood by my indiscretions.
Put up with my yelling and tantrums.
Picked me up when I crumbled.
So CDD, I celebrate my love for you,
grateful that we have the happiness life gives to just a few.
I Love You!
Always & Forever!
But yet again we will spend our Anniversary apart. Work. Got to love their schedule, hours, shifts, and no vacation in January rule. :) I cannot remember the last Anniversary we spent together. Probably 2007-08. But January 2013 we will finally be able to spend the day together. :)
So Cheers! Here's to another ....

Happy Birthday Dakota! 11 years ago today you came into this world. In May you will have been bring happiest and joy to us for the same amount of time. Thanks for becoming a member of this family. Thanks for choosing us.
Happy Birthday Day!!

The Catcher's Report
So we left off last week with me going to hospital to yet again have the infection cleaned out. What I was not expecting was to wake with another DAMN drain installed. Oh that was not on my plans. So that caused this to be a more slower
recovery. (As in I am still down for the count.) It is more painful to deal with that. Harder to "bounce" back. Driving is nearly impossible. :( Lucky for me I have a built in driver. CD has been wonderful. He picked up and ran with taking control and being very helpful.
CDD left as planned Saturday to go see the NFL game he and a co-worker planned a while back. But he wasn't even missed. CD cooked & cleaned. So I was quite able to just drug up and lay. :)
CD kept up with his busy week as usual. But it was okay. Busy days Monday & Tuesday, CDD was home on vacation. So still no need for me to do anything. He finished up Batting Lessons for the session. He is still Catching the Pitchers that are still having lessons. The Semester @ school ends this coming week, and Winter Break starts. So all is on track around here.
There is a snag, hopefully a minor one, fingers crossed. CD finally was able to get back to TKD. Just one more belt and he is finished. Just taking really long time, he is way to busy. But as saying he went Wednesday and then again Thursday. Somehow Thursday he managed to come down wrong on his right foot/ankle. He tried school Friday as you can not miss school with their schedule. Miss 1 day, workload of 2 days and right before grades due. NOT GOOD. He only made it thru 2.5 classes. DAMN!
He can still tonight can bare no weight. So now not only is he hurt. I do not have a helper or driver. Plus I am having a hard time helping him. :( Moms should never
not be able to help their children. Plus he could lose his catching position. Plus if he has to miss school again he is in BIG trouble. He won't be able to get things completed or finals in. Several of his classes he will not return to in Jan. So it is now or never. Then there is the issue if he is seriously hurt .. he might miss winter workouts for HS baseball and not be eligible to play in spring. Oy!! Just can't think about that.
He is told all the time he has to take care all the time. To much weighs on him to be healthy and not hurt.
CDD working 12 hour nights this weekend. Oy! I think he is going to have to stop committing to OT. Things are falling apart.
Other than that Christmas seems to be in good standings. I have to get wrapping done this week while CD is at school. I will not get a chance other wise. I was going to try and get out and buy him 1 or 2 other things but I don't see that happening.
So that pretty much sums up this week of The Catcher's Report ..

Halloween Fail, Over Slept & Furnace Fail ..
As far as the furnace, let's just say I am a so glad it is not freezing cold outside! The simple furnace start-up was a simple F-A-I-L. They worked on this thing all day and evening. Replaced parts after parts .. F-A-I-L! The next step is in the morning calling the actual Furnace company Rep out here to look at it. Oy! I am glad this is NOT my headache.
Though I did think at first CD was going to miss HS batting & his batting lessons. I couldn't leave people in house while I left, CDD was at work, and of course couldn't get help from my mom as my sister has her all wrapped up with niece #1 so that she can not help my family. *sigh* But I lucked out and when they had to run to pick up another part, I could drop and dash CD where he needed to be. Then when furnace guy returned I told him he had to be gone by 8 No ifs, and's, or buts. He agreed.
Tomorrow is No School & Election Day. I am not sure what will get done now that we will have people coming back to get the furnace working. Now I really wish I had waited. There is nothing I hate worse than people/things getting in my way of a day off with the kid. But CDD will be here, he took night off to go with CD to Pitching lessons (not CD .. CD catches the pitchers) He likes watching. Me? I have had my fair share of sitting around. I just drop and ditch now. :)
I will sitting down in next couple days and make a check list of things to start getting done. Time to start my Christmas prep. I have a tree that needs lighting repair. Though in thinking I am not sure how many of our trees will get up this year. I love them. I love having them. But the older I get, harder to get them all up and decorated in a timely manner.
With that said, I need to head to bed. I have to be up early in a.m to ride with CD so he can take his car to get oil changed. With all the comings and goings with furnace I totally forgot. Oy!

The Catcher Report
Things are going very well. First Quarter has ended and grades were perfect. He really has grasp the high school years now and without much prodding he gets all his work completed and turned in. (that was the big thing last year would do the work and then forget to turn it in) Test scores are still killing him. It just sucks that test scores are so heavily weighted compared to classwork.
They took the PLAN test this week. He is hoping he scored high enough he will not have to take the ACT. Though that is an awesome goal, I have a little more realistic view. Which is me paying out big bucks to higher someone
He is still standing firm on his "No Socializing" policy. He now has it down to a sentence .. "I will always be the friend, never the boyfriend."
School, Grades, Baseball .. if it doesn't fall in those categorize, it doesn't happen. Which I can not say that bothers me. Girls (and boys) are such a distraction. I see/hear all the drama that entails and I am glad he has chosen to wait.
Catcher dude has done so well this year. To think his time trials August 2009 was 27:31, and now October 2010 is 19:54. That is insane. He ran Suburban North Conferences last weekend. He came place 14th in meet & team place. Tomorrow is District Meets. He will have to place Top 30 to go onto Sectionals on the 30th.
The XC season just goes by so fast. It is crazy. But I give props to all the runners I couldn't do it. I know CD has already signed up for a couple races this fall/winter. *shaking head* Boy is addicted.
Well now that the fall season has come to an end. You would think it was time to slow down for a while, HA! No now is when he starts spending insanely amounts of time at the cages. If he isn't taking lessons, he is catching for those taking Pitching lessons. First day of HS Tryout is only in .. 129 days. No time to sit. (Know I am rolling my eyes at that statement)
There is a 44 yr old he is catching for that has never pitched a day in his life and decided he wanted to play on his work team, and is taking lessons. I say good for him!! Though I think his instructor and CD tend to disagree .. lol Apparently he is having a hard time right now getting it to the plate.
Not to much going on around here. The dog is ill again. He has been dining on boiled hamburger/rice mixture and Pumpkin this week. I really hope he bounces back again, but I am afraid the inevitable is on the way. CDD has been working A LOT! He is working 36 hours OT this weekend. I have been struggling trying to get back control of this household, and by that I mean cleaning, laundry, etc. I just can not seem to get ahead. I also need to the furnace people back out to hook up the new furnace. It might come in handy here soon and I would hate to be freezing to death just because I didn't get them back out here.
Well I think that about wraps up this addition of "The Catcher Report" ..
.. Until next week

The Catcher Report
September flew by, and October is greeting us at the door. The weeks just seem to fly by anymore and I couldn’t tell you where they go. This week is no exception.
CDD has been fighting a cold all week. (He NEVER gets sick) So he only worked Tuesday & Thursday. I think this is the first time in forever he has actually used his sick days for actually being sick. Hopefully the weekend will do him good and he will be bounced back Monday. Though I am not sure how much rest he will actually get. He has to do yard work Saturday and get the snake repellent down before I strangle him.
Fall baseball is coming to an end as well. Not like he played very much. He was always at a try-out for summer 2011. He should have just skipped fall ball. It would have saved us money.
Cross Country is almost to the end. One more race next weekend

and then that is it. I think I cannot remember if everyone runs Conferences or if only top 10 go. Last Friday he ran a PR of 21:14, placing 85th out of 102. Running for CD has been trouble lately. Whatever is in the air is causing his airway to shrink when running. We didn’t think he would run today, but he ended up pushing through. So today's meet he ran Tanner ran a 21:51, placing 107th out of 182. Apparently not a great race day for him.
On the school front, I could tell you nothing. I really have done an excellent job not holding his hand. Conferences and grades will come out next Friday. It is what it is. I know I hear parents talking about all the work and homework their kids have. Mine? Never cracks a book. The proof will be in the pudding.
Well the first draft of this was WAY better and from now on I am taking Jay's suggestion and typing it all in Word first. So if I hit Publish and get an error .. I didn't waste my TIME.
.. on that note until next time

The Catcher Report ~ Catcherdude Style
CATCHER DUDE
So I wanted to do The Catcher Report this week, it has been a long time since I
This past weekend I about got my ass kicked off Cross Country. None of the alarms went off and we over slept. That sucked!! I lucked out and Coach M let mom bring me. I set another PR of 21:30. I really wanted 21 or below, but I will take it. This weekend's race I am NOT looking forward to. I actually missed this race last year. But this course sucks. It has this hill, the hill has been named "man eater" and a name it has earned well. It sucked.
Now let's hope I do not over sleep in the morning. Though Coach M is picking me up from my house so I am sure I won't have that option.
Baseball sucked last weekend too. With this a mixture of boys, not everyone wants to gel. I can not stand that! Get on board or get off my field. Especially pitchers. Listen to me or you and I are both going to get hurt. Period. My hitting sucked..(you know I wonder if I need to stop using suck.. not sure if mom would "blog approve")..not sure what the deal was. I got on base, didn't steal so mom would not have a heart attack. You know she is still all over-protective-bitchy-like over this finger issue.
My most exciting news my car title is being delivered today. All mine, mine, mine!!Now of course I can not drive unless one of them is in the car. But who cares just a few months I can drive it by myself. The baseball endowment will start in May picking up the insurance tab. Hopefully dad got all the other stuff in order while I am at school. I am stoked!!
I will close with this for the week ..
I am pretty sure that video will come down as soon as mom sees it. She isn't a Linkin Park Fan. But as they say ..
While the cats away the mice will play ..
*I had this done this afternoon but the school blocks youtube so I had to wait until home to send it ..

Love Like Crazy..
Then it was playing in truck when I dropped off CDD. He is totally NOT a country music person. Hates when it is on. Tunes it out.
Then clear out of Blue CDD says,
"Man didn't that just hit the nail on the head"
Let's say I was about to be calling AAA to pull me out of the ditch. ;-)
------------------------------------------------------------------
Be a best friend,
tell the truth.
And over use I LOVE YOU.
Go to work,
do your best.
DON'T outsmart your common sense.
Never let your praying knees get lazy....
And, love like CRAZY...
-------------------------------------------------------------------
"Just ask him how he made it
He'll tell you faith and sweat
And the heart of a faithful woman,
Who never let him forget"
"Always treat your woman like a lady.
Never get to old to call her baby."
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Guess there is hope for that man yet!

Labor Day & The Husband
Labor Day the last US holiday of the summer. For a lot of people, Labor Day means two things: a day off and the end of summer. In U.S. sports, Labor Day marks the beginning of the NFL and college football seasons. Labor Day is a day set aside to pay tribute to working men and women. So keeping with that theme I thought I would mention someone I apparently never mention. Give him his own post. The husband. (Someone ask me a while back if it was just my son & I. They never heard mention of anyone else on my blog.)
Well I guess that is just an over site on my part. See the husband, Catcher dudes dad, he works A LOT! Not only does he work a lot. He works horrible hours. So when there is all the comings and goings going on around the house, he is not here. He can go 5 days some times and not see CD. He isn't at the games, unless he uses vacation time, I get to enjoy and take for granted. He doesn't get to go to Open Houses, School Functions, Banquets, Doctor appointments, etc.. All the things I seem to now take for granted. That wear me out to no end it seems, he misses. The Husband (CDD) probably has missed most of all firsts in this house.
But what he does do that we take for granted. Work 10 hour nights. Hard working labor as well, not a desk job. Travels 45 minutes each way. Works almost all the OT that is offered. Reducing again the time he sees his family. Why does he? For his family.
He will be the first to tell you when I got pregnant and announced I was not going back to work he hated the idea. The thought of being a 1 income family was not what he pictured (Though I warned him plenty of times before the I Do's & the stick turning two lines) But he didn't complain to much after a while. He worked 2 & 3 jobs sometimes. He has always done a lot to make the financial means in this household.
If you ask him now he will say though it has sucked at times he wouldn't change it. He is glad
So this Labor Day I thank my husband for all he has done for us.

September 1
It has been a sad week up at the High School. Sunday they lost a student to a drowning accident in the Meramec River. He was a Sophomore. He was with his family, he went under and a cousin grabbed his hand and brought him back up. But the current took him back under and pulled him away. Divers later helped recover his body in about seven feet of water about an hour later. He was not a strong swimmer and unfortunately was not wearing a life jacket.
I just can not imagine their loss.
Oddly enough his uncle, who was with the family, works with CDD. Though until CD called to tell his dad that his friend had died they were not aware the boys went to school together. Small World.
Well this post took on a different direction than planned.

"Not Me!" Monday
This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
It has been ages since I did a not me Monday. But I thought it would be better than what I had planned.
Because I certainly did not spend all morning writing a blog post ranting about CDD's father. I am not guilty of even trashing my own child in this blog post. Nope! I did not do that. I did not throw a fit when Catcherdude loaned FIL the money to bail his ass out of trouble yet again, even though we haven't heard from him in over 6 months. No! I was perfectly fine CD handing over $500 to the man who wanted him dead. Yeah! Not Me!
I also did not spend all of yesterday cleaning up and doing everyone's laundry but CDD's, because he yet again left them where they are not to be. Nope Not Me! No, I wouldn't leave him with no clean clothes for work this week. Forcing him to be up now doing his laundry. *smile*
I am not dragging my feet to get CD back to TKD because I have liked sitting around and not playing chauffeur. Nope! Not Me!
Thursday I did not have my hair cut and changed the color. Nope! Not Me! So as that no one noticed. That is how much people pay attention in this house.
Also, I am certainly not jumping for joy that I do not have to drive CDD the next 2 weeks to his ride. No I really enjoy chauffeuring him along with kid day in and day out. Nope! Not Me! Or the fact I am not sitting here counting the minutes until he walks out the door and I have the whole house to myself for the next 5 hours.
Lastly I did not drop the ball on the 120 mile challenge in 3 months. Nope! Not Me!. I did not do this.
*sigh*

Friday .. Finally
The normal busy nights with High School Cage time, Hitting lessons, TKD, Catching for pitching instructors, catching lessons, and baseball practices round out the 7 days in a week. But some highlights to this week :
Son had to have his schedule for next school year filled out & signed off. We were all excited to see he was recommended for Honors Math & Science Classes. This is even more sweet as since he was 3 he has been in school with and IEP in place. So maybe this is actually the start of the end of needing this in place. Boy would that not be the best news. Now if he could just get more organized and stop forgetting to turn work in, or not get the test scores he should the first time around. Ah! That would be .. but baby steps. Baby steps. We'll get there.
I can hardly believe in just about a month it will be time to try-out for the HS Baseball team. Sitting on Pins and needles already. I can not imagine what the week of Tryouts and then waiting for results will be like.
Taxes are filed and on the way. Couldn't be coming at a better time seeing how husband is drowning in my medical bills for the last 2 years. Yikes! They sure add up.
I am finally finished with all medicines. I have been on one type of antibiotic or another since right after Thanksgiving. So now we wait and see. Hopefully this last round will fix once and for all and NO MORE Surgeries!!
What also is nice now Husband has now picked up Friday, Saturday, Sunday duties and I get to stay in. That is nice. Miss the OT. But had to be done.
Looks like snow might be rolling in again for this weekend. Brrr .. I am really ready for warmer, spring like weather.

Weekend Catch Up .. Not Me! Monday!
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog.
The MckFamily was given really awesome news today. After 5+ weeks Stellan and her are heading back home. This is the best news.
So my post today will be done in Not Me! Monday Form.
This weekend was yet another busy one around Catcher dudes house. CDD decided he would pick up the extra overtime he normally turns down. So instead of being home Friday & Saturday, I was left to pick up the slack around here by myself. But I certainly did not drop the ball on all sorts of things. Nope! Not Me!
Catcher dudes birthday is just around the corner and he wanted a new bat for his birthday. So I did not spend from Thursday - Saturday googling bats, running from store to store all over town, THEN taking Catcher Dude from store to store. Picking out one bat .. and then deciding on another. Nope! Not Me! I certainly did not spend more on that bat than my truck payment. Nope! Why would I do something like that? (Reminds me of this post)
Then Saturday evening rolled around and though we are heading back out of town and the house is upside down and laundry and packing need to be started I didn't leave that all behind to go with CCD & Catcherdude to park to watch him use his new bat. Nope! Didn't happen that way. I didn't lash out about the cost of said bat when it (and it's owner) preformed HORRIBLE!! Making me wish I had just waited for dad dude to do all the baseball bat hunting. Nope! I wasn't secretly wishing there was a way to return a used bat. I was NOT plotting how this could be done.
Then Sunday rolled in and it was double header day. The weather was wonderful. It thought definitely was not so windy I was eating dirt stuck in my gum, and having to remove one of my contacts and place in CDD sunglasse case. Nope! That wasn't me.
The first game the boys struggled. With a lost of 10-3. Catcherdude's first @ bat .. oh lordy!! He "K". Then I really wasn't cursing and thinking, "Dump that POS bat!" Nah! I wouldn't do or say something to make Catcherdude feel horrible about his choice. (I later felt really bad about this) He did have 3 more AB. Which is good. Never see 4 AB in a game. He did have better AB after the first one. He got 2 1B, 2 stolen bases, and 1 R. So pretty good.
Second game they came out victorious. Winning 13-9. This time CD doubled, 1 SB, and 2 BB. So maybe the bat will be earning it's keep. We will see what magic it will bring lil man CD this weekend on his out-of-town tourney.

Now I am:
* Not procrastinating and not getting things all ready to go.
* I am not behind.
* I have finished shopping for CD's Birthday (that we are celebrating while gone)
* I have ordered the cookies for said birthday for team.
* I am not sitting here trying to think of more items just so I don't have to go load dishes and unload and reload laundry ....
Nope! Not Me!
Oh last item then I will have to move it .. move it ...
Catchers white jersey .. the numbers bled all over it and I tried and tried to get it out. I took it back to the store where the team ordered and received them. At first they were going to replace it. Then they called earlier and said it was "laundry error" and are charging me the $60 to replace it. I am totally Peeed Off about this.
Laundry Error my as- butt! I wash that in cold water. No colors. I know how to wash a dam- darn JERSEY!! I first agreed to it. But after talking to listening to CDD yell and fuss about how in the last year we have spent over $700 in that store on bats alone, not counting uniforms, batting helmets, gloves, etc .. and we just will take the bled white jersey and will think twice before stepping foot back in their store.
Now as a mom I have mixed emotions about this. I hate to think of him having to wear the awful mess of a jersey. But I see CDD's point too. *sigh* I am not sure what I will do. He told me to call her back in the a.m. I just don't know what to do.
Well All my chores are calling and I just remembered it is Medium night.
Night!!

"Not Me!" Monday
I am a little late today. Been a busy day with no school. I am going to have to start making a draft post during the week so I can remember what I SO DID NOT DO. I will do better next week. :)
I did not secretly jump up and down when CDD told me his mother called yet again and he would not be returning her call. No, I would not do that. I SO DO NOT still hold a grudge from the first years of our marriage about her. Nope. Not me.
When the bully came walking past me up at the middle school I DID NOT push the cart in his walk way and then act liked I didn't see him coming. Oops! Sorry!
I also did not serve those peanut butter crackers and snack bars on Friday, that have been been on the news to avoid as there is a risk of salmonella contamination. Oh no! We certainly DO NOT have those on the middle school snack cart.
Then when the kid wanted Tacos from a local chain here, they certainly DID NOT mess the order up for the 200,000 time. How hard is it to minus the lettuce? So I absolutely DID NOT get on the phone and yell at them as I was already on the hwy to pick up a sick husband and then to baseball, and had no time to turn around.
Then I DID NOT stop at a different store of same chain claiming they were the ones that messed up getting 6 corrected tacos from them. No! I would not do that. Because Catcher Dude had a baseball clinic and had to eat before hand as he had not eaten all day.
But then after making it back to our city and after son's baseball clinic, I DID NOT go back to the original store getting them to replace the 6 tacos. No! Not me. I did not walk away with 20 tacos for the price of 8. Nope I would not do that. Because this chain always gets orders correct, and I have not had my final straw breaking point with them. Nope! Not me!!
Also I did not call Catcherdude sick into school so he will not have to watch all that BS Inauguration Day crap on TV while at school. I certainly told him it was important to go to school, and not cut classes.

Disappearing
I love the decorations. It is my favorite part of the holiday season. The tree is still up so I can still sneak in late at night dragging blanket and pillow behind me and snuggle up in my favorite chair and click on the lights and lay and stare. I was totally not in the mood to put the stuff out this year. I really saw no sense. But the one thing that save me this past week was the tree. All the restless nights of not sleeping due to pain or uncomfortableness. I could sneak in and turn on the lights. Watch them. Falling back in and out of sleep. :) I will miss it. Though I bet if I
I just don't think we get to enjoy the lights and decorations enough. I want more time. Maybe after Halloween next year? hmmm ...

Dr Appointment .. Spoiled One .. Oh My
When leaving there CDD decided since Catcher Dude was so upset last night he hasn't seen dad in a while, and they will miss each other tonight again as CDD is OT'ing tonight we would swing by school and pick him up for a brunch trip to Bob Evans. So that is what we did. Let him miss one class block and skipped across the parking lot to eat. CD was so happy to see CDD. You would think they had not seen each other in months. :)
Now CDD and I are back home. CD back at school. Now I am waiting for a Free-cycle pick up. But I am thinking they are a no-show!! Second no show on this same item. Maybe some charity will want to come pick this up. Oh well.
I will start laundry soon and sit and work more on this afghan for catcher dude. I really want to be done by next week so I can possible make a scarf and hat set for niece. I made niece #2 a blanket last Christmas. So I might even try to make a set for niece #1 & #2. But I don't believe I have time.
Well it is a rare thing for CDD to be awake and me at home, so I am going to go see what he is up to and probably start the laundry as it is apparent the lady bailed on the refrigerator.

Summer Ending? Update
Things have been crazy (as usual) around here. A little update on things.
On School Front:
Middle school (of course .. i would not expect any less then problems when it comes to school related things. lol) didn't have kid signed to a team yet. At first they said they didn't have him enrolled, but they cashed my check, so umm yeah you do. But they promised he would be in a team by today (Wednesday Aug 1). Which he was. On first, second, and third opinion, I really like this Principal. Very down to earth, but still seems down to business. So I really have good hopes for this upcoming school season. These next two days (Aug 1 & 2) he is in a pre-class before school starts. They help them get geared towards middle school, lockers, binders, switching classes, transitioning, etc .. Today the Tye dyed shirts according to their team. Right now kid is on 7C. But that might change again before 13th, so not set in stone. So we will see. What can I say. I always am positive when we make changes and all seems like for the better, not we all know that hasn't always been the case.
Sunday(29th) after they got done bowling I got an awesome deal on 3 ring binders. Kid needs 5 (red, blue, green, black, purple) usually 3 ring binders are $4-$5 a piece. Sale .99. I was jumping for joy on that one. I like how each class is color coded. binder, spiral notebook, and 2 pocket folder all in the above mentioned colors. Then each set is designed for a certain class. Very clever idea. I hope this keeps kid on track and organized.
Registration is the next 6 days. We are going to shoot for Friday. He will get is very first student ID, class schedule, locker assignment, and bus schedule. I will pay out checks, lol. (Lunch, PTA, School Pictures, yearbook, and extra ID). I still can not believe his school pictures are BEFORE school even starts. That is just to odd in my book. So anyway, ready or not middle school is just 12 days away. *sigh*
On Baseball Front:
Like I said earlier kid went to second tryout for the bulldogs last Thursday(26th). They must see something they like to keep having him back. He had 2 different tryouts on Saturday (28th). That was a long day. Cobras 11 am - 1 pm then Saints 2p-4p. It was HOT, NO SHADE, and imo too long of a day for kid. But he did his hardest. He got a new bat on Friday night (27th). He was happy about that. Little shorter, but heavier. Then Monday he had practice with his current team Rhinos. This was just catchers & pitchers. So he is getting his workouts here lately. As of right now we are scaling back on his try outs. It is getting to be to much, and even though he is the one that is push, push, pushing, he needs to rest. We skipped 1 this past Sunday and skipping this Friday & Saturday. But we are letting him tryout next Monday (6th) for a team. So we will see come later this month what if anything comes out of all this hard work.
Other stuff:
CDD is working a lot of OT. Hating his hours. But this is only option right now. He will just have to find another job and move on. That is about all he can do at this point. He is giving up OT to take kid out next Friday. Hasn't really been around that much this summer with changing jobs and all the different shifts before switching and now that he has switched. *sigh* But least he is giving up a great deal of $$ to make a memory. *smile*
Only one more week of bowling for kid. Then 2 weeks and CDD starts. *thud* This household never settles in. Always on the go. I really am going to sit down in a couple days and try to make out a schedule and stick to it. Problem? No one day is the same twice. But least I can try.
Well I think that about updates this current.

Poor lil One
Kid came home really ill today. When I picked up from school he complained about sharp pains in his side. At first I was concerned about Appendix. But was more side then low tummy.
By the time we got home from tutor and picking up daddy. He was feeling really bad. :-( Now he seems to be running to bathroom a lot, sleeping, and looking pale & flushed as maybe fever coming. BUMMER!
Tonight was last night of his baseball camp. He hated to miss. :-(
