Wow! Another Friday here, and what a beautiful one it is!! The weather lately has been great. Been in upper 70's. Not the normal for November, but great none the less. Haven't needed the POS heat we have installed now. FYI - 98% energy efficient means .. you freeze IMO.



This past week has been insane! Insane!! I would have never booked our weeks like this. But leave it up to Catcherdude to be in charge and he has us running around like crazy! There is no room for error. To get his community service hours in and over he choose to manage the girls V Basketball team. But this means him once again getting home at 5:30. To turn around and be at the cages by 6, to not get back home until some where between 8-9. To go to bed, to turn around and do it all over again.

Though already a snag was hit, and he is in a scheduling snag foo. He was under assumption the games were after school, umm nope mostly 7-8 in evening. So that BIG time interferes with catching the pitchers. Plus they are close to getting rid of the other kid that does it, and if that happens, CD is all they have and he has to fill those slots to.


All I can say .. GOOD LUCK CD! lol.

CD is running in a race on Saturday. XC ends and he still is running. But I am almost betting he doesn't sign up for more as time is not his friend right now.


To add to mixture CDD has hit that time of year when his hours bounce all over the board. On days, nights, splits, oy! Because as every year their boss lets to many people off and then has to fill in gaps. Here is an idea .. all vacation must be in and used before Oct 31. Yeh, I say that cuz he can't ever use any during holidays as others get top choice. lol. He was off yesterday so he could go to the Predators game with CD. But today & Monday he is working 5a-3:30p. To then turn around and work normal shift T-TH.

As the year end draws closer I am not sure how much I will be around. It is crazy busy already and haven't hit the holidays. Though I am ready to start pulling out all the decorations. lol. Yeah I know. I have a post I made about this subject I need to finish up. We also have trips coming up as well. No School Days. Why did I do this? Oh that is right. I have a teenager. lol.

Cold. C-O-L-D! Bitter Blast!

Okay so really? Who turned on the a/c to full blast outside? It is freezing today. With freak snow showers one minute, the next sunshine. \(--)/ Currently 29 but sure as heck feels colder than that.

I have not a want in the world to go back out today. After trip to get taxes done, trip to grocery store, and lunch with DH. I am good, or at least you would think. But I have to go pick up son and then take the boy out for his Tuesday nite activities. Ugh! So that is at least 3 more trips out into the cold.

Also I think I made a HUGH mistake spraying the oven cleaner in the house. I am dieing with the smell, and I sure as double hockey sticks not opening the door. I am FREEZING already.

But I am tired of not being able to use the oven. But using in present condition sets off every bells & whistles in the joint. (Remind me to thank who ever got whatever all over the inside. *sigh*) I was almost half tempted to throw the whole thing out and go buy a new stove/oven. I want one with a self-cleaning oven. *shrug* But not sure how well they really work. All I know is I am still way to ill and have a hard enough time getting from point A to B. Without trying to bend over and stick half my body in the oven to clean it out. Maybe just turning on the gas while in there is a better idea. LOL.

I should be doing lots of things right now. But I sit. Really all I do anymore if I can. Again .. SON .. he certainly keeps me hopping. Even though the Dr's really recommend I stay my bum in and rest. What can I do? Hopefully DH will get this new shift he applied for at work, or change jobs/careers soon. He id file under emergency family illness. All my Dr.'s wrote letters on his behalf stating it would be in the best interest of the household if he could take a day shift so he can take of minor child as mother is not able to, and really needs to be hospitalized. So we will see.

I am almost finished with a baby afghan I am making for my sisters upcoming shower. Ah! Yes! Miss I do not hold a job, can not keep my legs shut, I got to keep popping out babies in hopes their daddy will leave his wife has struck again. Baby #3 is fast approaching. I said least it was another girl and she already has plenty of baby & girl things. Ha! She keeps nadda. Has nadda. *rolling eyes*

Next topic that one drives me insane and I start mouthing off. Actually I am going to stop here. I am coughing like crazy from the fumes from oven cleaner so guess I am going to have to air house out.

So Cold It Could Kill .. Temperatures lowest in a decade

So the weather man says.

Catcher Dudes school is in today. There were very few districts that actually did cancel school. I finally put my MEAN MOMMY foot down this morning and told catcher dude he had to wear his winter coat. PERIOD! That bus could break down before it gets to school. It wasn't to much of s struggle. So that was good.

CD is lucky though, he can just stand at the door and watch for bus and when it gets to our house walk out. The bus stop is our drive way. :)

I feel for those who are suffer worse temps. I am not looking forward to leaving this house today. So I just might not do it!
