10.16.2012

Where do I keep falling into a black hole?? LOL. It is crazy!! I have made an all out effort to keep having me time, but I seem to keep failing to write. I seem to be half assing a lot lately.

As my ticker shows ------------>

Even though we are only about (on Avg) 235 days away from an empty house, I seem to be still wrapped up in lots of people. Not really where I wanted to be in this stage, but working on it.

Mom --- Well she is still not taking back her agenda. I am still caring for her and #1 niece. Doesn't bother me about mom. Bothers me about niece. Though she lives with my mom I feel HER mother should be stepping up and help in the care of niece. I just don't understand why this seems to not be others opinion. But alas, I will. Last night I got the pleasure of dealing with nieces Parent/Teacher Conference. Which we now have renamed Aunt/Teacher Conference. :) Though my ideas of going forward with actions in classroom is totally different than those of my mother, or niece mother. But you put me in that position? I will do it MY WAY.  Mom is still not driving so *pointing to self* I on top of my other tasks are now Chauffeur. Which didn't I just hang up that hat? (ie son .. lol)

I will give moms husband credit, he took vacation last week and tried step in my place. They did okay. Though niece and mom were more than happy to see my return yesterday. ROFL Though I still didn't get a break as I spent everyday tearing apart 1 room of house and cleaning it silly. :P (Have a dinner coming up the house needed the extra TLC)

Teen --- I really haven't dealt with all that much lately. Luckily he can sort of manage on his own. But really hasn't been making great choices, though I don't have the time to stand on top of it to correct. Due dates for Colleges are coming and going. Unfortunately more going than coming. *sigh* I am not sure at this rate he will be attending. But I have got to let it go. Just as his career choice has changed. I have to let it go. Who am I to say what to do in life? (Though my OBJECTION is duly noted. *grr*) He is still being stalked by the ex-girlfriend NC. The new girlfriend SM (according to him) messed up and went to another Homecoming with another guy, so they are on the outs, oh wait no back on the ins, wait no, umm .. what day of the week is it? LOL .. saying this on and off thing I can't keep straight.

Husband --- Do I still have one? lol. Yeah, he is just around. We met coming and going. Quite a bit. Though we have been making time to at least go to Farmer's Market & having lunch. So we catch up then. His hours have been crazy, but soon he will have a new, and oh so we hope PERMANENT, position on days. Oh yeah that is awesome. But really why matter now? Teen grown and 1 foot out door. Nothing going on around here now. lol. Oh well. Least he can now do his thing. SPORTS. Gotta watch those sports. *giggle*

So that is about the wrap up around here. I am still spreading self thin and meeting self coming and going.

Which brings me to a quote I saw this morning on MFP:

OK....This weeks word of the week wreaks of this.....ATTITUDE!!!!
We all got it...we all display it in different ways....
However...sometimes we get the "TUDE" for the wrong reasons...
Now tell me...why do u act like this just cant be happening
when the scale heads upward,
especially after u stuffed your face with all the high caloric content,
then u want to step on the scale and act all angelic!!! Come on....
Thats not the attitude i'm referring to...
I want the "TUDE"...the one where positive vibes just flow...
I want the "TUDE" that this too shall pass,
I WANT THE ATTITUDE that no matter how i stumble,
i will find a way to correct my mistakes, my falters, my temptations...
and turn it all around...WHY???
Cuz i have the attitude I'm worth it!!!
So there ya go...give me some ATTITUDE!!!

But this just isn't about scales, weight-loss, and eating for me. I feel this in many avenues in life at this moment. I really need to do some more soul searching. I have come a long way, but there is more I need to adjust.

10.1.12

Fall is here. Cooler weather is here. I am so excited about our upcoming vacation. I managed to pay in full and book the Condo. Also have the Hotels booked and paid in full. So most of the top pay items are out of the way.

September was a slow weight loss. But I was busier than a bee in a beehive with taking care of this house plus my moms. Her surgery recovery is been slower than I expected.

9.20.12

Had the most perfect day. Spent it with the hub. Weather was perfect. Walking around the city. Perfect. Watching baseball game. Wonderful. It was a fun. fun. day.

Most fun I have had in a long time. The High School FBLA was there for Career day. Only seen son once, when he came to pick up his money of course. :)

I even behaved with my eating. Packed snacked. Drank Water. Stayed away from concession. Woo Hoo!! Now after? Not so much. Hooters was not the best choice. But I will say walking all the blocks from Baseball Stadium, to Hooters, then to the Hockey Stadium helped me feel a little better about that choice. :)

Lastly my favorite pitcher. Motte.

9.9.2012

Nothing really new to report. Seems like the days are just blending together. Which to be honest doesn't bother me one bit. It can stay this quiet for the next 280+ days. This is how a school year is suppose to be.

Of course it would not be the district if wasn't some snag here and there. Graduation is later this year than it has been in all the 5+ years I have been tracking the date. So cutting close to the vacation we want to plan. But really, not the end of the world. Just another speed bump.

Last week Hub talked me into giving golf a try. I said I would give it an honest try, and I will. Just think a different teacher would help. lol. Shhhhh So he tracked down a set of clubs he thought would be good on Craigslist.

September 3, 2012

Been to driving range twice so far. Second time was better as a) not as warm. b) wore sleeveless shirt. So we will see. Least even at the driving range, I am getting exercise and getting out. ;)

The weight loss is at a stall. So time to mix it up. Get over the slump, I am determined to get to my first goal by April 30. So still being soda free from the August Challenge, time to add to the list. Today I made a new playlist for my walking/exercise/running .. routine.

I love the Skinny Ms. Website I found another challenge. So now I am going to do the 7 Day Push-Up Challenge starting tomorrow.

Let's see if we can make some changes for the next weigh-in.

We all know we have to get our 8 glasses of water every day (although, we also now know that it can very according to your size and weight). But why is water so vital? 8182012

Wow! It is already Saturday again. This week rolled on through. Though that is a good thing. Teens week went well. A little bump in the road with parking, but as I suspected all squared away by yesterday. :)

Teen really liked getting out early Friday so he and dad could golf. Golfing now. Hey! What ever floats your boat. They are actually out again today golfing, so I have a nice and quiet day. One class he is taking is Home Repair and Maintenance. That will come in handy. :) Today for a matter of fact he replaced the spot light on garage and replaced a light switch. You go on with your bad self.

I have still been doing well with eating and exercise. Though my mom had me out eating way more than I like. (Well I like it, don't get me wrong, but not sure help with weight loss) I managed to walk 3 out of the 5 days this week. So that was a PLUS. Tomorrow is weigh in. I didn't drink as much as the Fat Flush water (I hate that name I may rename that .. lol) this week but I still did drink it.

I am proud I am still soda free. I have been ordering water when out. Haven't had the Kool-aid, crystal light, nadda, in the house. Either the FFW or Plain water for me. :) I am very proud of that.

So this past week goals were:
  • Walk at least 3 times this week.
  • Drink Fat Flush water 4x
  • Continue the Skinny Ms. soda Challenge.
  • Work on Cleaning Office some more
  • Clean out hall closet
  • Work on washing the hoodies I have left all summer.
  • Work on ScrapBook on MixBooks

Goals for this week. I think I will just keep continuing on with the same ones, and add a couple new ones.

  • Walk at least 4 times this week.
  • Drink Fat Flush water 4x
  • Continue the Skinny Ms. soda Challenge.
  • Work on Cleaning Office some more
  • Clean out hall closet
  • Scrub Bathroom Down

So we will see. My mother is going back to Dr. on Wednesday to see when they will be scheduling her surgery. So Plans might get all whacked out of place. So we will have to see.

Until later ..
